Fenestrated Graspers have an opening in the middle of the jaw. This is less traumatic to tissue and allows some capillary circulation within the tissue being grasped. But it also grips tightly as some tissue goes up into the fenestration and prevents side to side slippage. Generally used on small intestine and fallopian tubes.
