IMA Ratchet Mechanism. This device works only with the IMA System. The Bookler® IMA System is designed to allow gentle, controlled lifting of the chest wall for harvesting the Internal Mammary Artery. The IMA Ratcheting Mechanism features a micro twist ratchet that permits controlled lifting in increments less than 1mm. Each hook is lifted independently for the greatest control. Easy to set up, simple and economic to use.

Model No. 72114

Ratchet Extender. This device will extend the handle of any Bookler® or ratchet styled Retractor blade about 6″. A “must-have” in Bariatric procedures, and deep pelvic procedures. The blade handle is inserted into the ratchet on the Extender, then the Handle of the Extender is inserted into the Tilt Ratchet.

Model No. 72025

Standard Ratchet. The standard ratchet mechanism holds any Bookler® or Bookwalter retractor blade. The ratchet feature allows one handed retraction that locks the blade in place. A release lever allows the blade to relax or be removed.

Tilt  Ratchet.  The Tilt Ratchet is what allows the Bookler® Table Mounted Retractor System to retract upwards as well as outwards.  This feature provides superior surgical exposure than self retaining retractors which usually retract in only one direction.

Model No. 72113

Twist Ratchet Adapter. This device allows delicate retraction of about 3 mm per “click.” It loads onto the back of any assembled Bookler® Retractor Blade/Ratchet. Turning the thumbscrew brings the blade back one ratchet tooth at a time.
