Mini-Bookler^® Tilt Ratchet. The Tilt Ratchet is what allows the Bookler® Table Mounted Retractor System to retract upwards as well as outwards. This feature provides better surgical exposure than self retaining retractors which only retract in one direction.

Mini-Bookler^® Twist Ratchet. This device allows delicate retraction of about 1 mm per “click.” It loads onto the back of any assembled Mini-Bookler® Retractor Blade/Ratchet. Turning the thumbscrew brings the blade back one ratchet tooth at a time.
