Horizontal Bar. The Bookler® horizontal allows adequate tightening on any ring eliminating the need for an over-sized tightening knob. Instead, the tightening knob is now the same diameter as the rest of the device allowing it to be “back-loaded” into couplers. The device has also been adjusted to hold the solid and segmented rings in the Mini-Bookler® Systems.

Horizontal Flex Bar. The name may mislead you. The true advantage of this device is that it may be angled upward while the jaws stay in a horizontal position. This can gain 8 – 10 inches (20 – 25cm) of height in the positioning of the ring, often all that is needed in procedures on the obese patient. The device has also been adjusted to hold the solid and segmented rings in the Mini-Bookler® Systems.
